Web Services at UMFK

Web Services designs and maintains the campus web site, as well as provides personal web page hosting for students, faculty and staff for academic purposes. Web Services also provides hosting services to a number of organizations associated with the university, including the Sunrise Conference, Acadian Culture in Maine (a web book created in conjunction with the Acadian Archives and the National Park Service), and The Aroostook Review, among others. In addition, the last issue of the publication "River Review" was published and remains available online.

Web Services staff work closely with students, faculty, staff, and the local community to provide support in graphic design, scanning, PowerPoint, FTP, web site design, and other multimedia support. In addition the office has the ability to convert analog audio and video to digital formats. Video streaming of campus events is also a function of the Web Services department.
