How to Get Here

Fort Kent is a scenic 3 1/2 hour drive north of Bangor, Maine, via Interstate 95. Take exit 264 (Sherman Mills) and Route 11 North. This road winds through approximately 100 miles of woodland with beautiful lakes, rivers and abundant wildlife to Fort Kent. An alternate route follows I-95 to the Houlton exit then U.S. Route 1 north to Caribou and Route 161 north to Fort Kent.

From Canada, follow the Trans Canadian Highway 2 to Edmundston, New Brunswick. Take NB 120 and 205 to Clair and cross the International Bridge to Fort Kent.

Daily scheduled flights are available through carriers serving the North Maine Regional Airport in Presque Isle, Maine, and the Regional Airport in St. Leonard, New Brunswick. Commercial bus service is available to and from Caribou, Maine and Edmundston, New Brunswick.
