Meghan Sullivan, Community Mentor

Meghan Sullivan, Community Mentor, Crocker HallHey! My name is Meghan Sullivan, I am a third year student, studying French and Secondary Education. I have transferred from Our Lady of the Elms College in Chicopee, MA - also my hometown. I have come to Fort Kent to learn the more about Acadian culture that exists in this area the French dialect that is thriving. After this semester, I will be spending time in Brest, Bretagne which is on the western coast of France. I am hoping to become very fluent in French so that I can confidently have the skills to teach at the secondary level after I obtain my degree. I love living in Fort Kent. This is only my second semester here, and I already feel the connection and affection for the small community that flourishes here. I am a member of the Newman Club on campus, which is a growing group of students and other members of the community who come together to share the relationship we all have with God, to grow spiritually, and to continue actively in our faith through fellowship. All together, For Kent has changed my life and has given me countless experiences that I will never forget. I'm available on campus a lot of the time I'm here, so feel free to stop by!
