What to Bring

The following is a list of what to bring when you are moving into the dorms.

Necessities

  • Picture ID
    (Driver’s License, State ID)
  • Social Security Card or Birth Certificate
  • Completed Forms
    (Immunization Record, Proof of Insurance, etc.)
  • Twin or Twin XL size Bed Linen and Pillow
  • Towels
  • Toiletries
    (soap, shampoo, razors, etc.)
  • Warm Clothing
  • Telephone (1 per room)
  • Shower Sandals
  • Surge Protector
  • Alarm Clock

Optional

  • Microwave *
  • Small Fridge *
  • Television (Cable Ready)
  • Co-axial Cable for Television
  • VCR or DVD
  • Small Stereo
  • Computer with Ethernet Connection
  • Ethernet cable for Computer (available for purchase on campus)
  • Desk Lamp
  • Floor Mat
  • Dry Erase Board for Door

The following is a list of what not to bring when you are moving into the dorms.

  • Items that have an open flame or element
    (candles, incense, etc.)
  • Firearms or ammunition
    (can be stored for free at local police station)
  • Fireworks
  • Any knife larger than a pocket knife
  • Toasters
  • Personal Furniture
