An introduction to basic chemical concepts such as matter elements atom molecule atomic structure periodic table chemical bonding stoichimetry solutions and electrolytes reaction rates and equilibrium. Studies the basic properties of selected elements and a brief introduction to organic and biochemistry. Laboratory introduces basic techniques in chemistry laboratory.
