the 100th Anniversary of the University of Maine at Fort Kent.

During the past 100 years this Fort Kent institution of higher learning has contributed significantly to the education of Aroostook County young people and has provided educational opportunities to thousands of students who without the University of Maine at Fort Kent may not have been able to pursue their educational goals beyond high school.

All of us can take a great deal of pride
as we look over the past 100 years of the school's history and accomplishments, and I am confident that the University of Maine at Fort Kent will continue to make an outstanding contribution to Maine's educational needs for many many years to come.
