If you are neither a U.S. Citizen nor eligible noncitizen, you are not eligible for U.S. Federal financial aid. Waivers are available but very limited. To be considered for a waiver you must be accepted in a UMFK degree program and provide us with an essay (indicating why you should be considered for a waiver) prior to March 15. Student employment may also be available through the University work-study program. This program usually allows a student to work 7-8 hours a week on campus. To be considered for this type of employment, a University work-study application is required.
