At the University of Maine at Fort Kent, Distance education can play a big part in realizing your educational goals. This may mean taking a few online courses to increase your job skills, or combining on campus courses with various distance education options that better fit into your schedule, to earn a specific degree. It could even mean getting an entire degree from UMFK, an accredited member of the University of Maine System, without ever having to travel far from home!

Distance education at UMFK works with the University of Maine System Network and the University College. These provide a variety of services and course delivery infrastructure support, including UMFK distance education courses.
