Waterville Valley, NH - UMFK participated in their first ever College Regional Championships at Waterville Valley NH this past weekend.

UMFK only had two participants in the Regional Championships as the long season wore out some of the other team competitors. Eamonn Harding (Brewer, ME) and Heather Hickey (Fort Kent) raced some tough races during the two day competition which included a 15K classic race, 1.8K classic sprints and an 8.5K freestyle race.  Hickey took home a 12th place finish in the women's 8.5K freestyle race which was a great finish in a tough field that included defending champions UMPI as well as WPI, Wesleyan College, UMF, UMO, Paul Smiths, US Military Academy, Clarkson and Army.
