NAIA Eligibility

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) states the below rules and regulations for student-athletes who would like to participate in an intercollegiate sport.

Entering Freshmen must meet two of these three requirements:

  1. Achieve a combined score of 18 or better on the ACT or an 860 or better on the SAT.
  2. Achieve a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 2.00 on a 4.00 scale.
  3. Graduate in top 50% of your high school class.

Entering transfer students must observe the following requirements in order to be eligible:

  1. If transferring from another institution, you must have eligibility remaining at the previous institution.
  2. If you wish to participate in a sport, you must attend the new institution for one full semester before participating in a sport, if you competed in a sport at the previous institution.
  3. You must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  4. Must have a matriculated a total of 24 credit hours in your last 2 full-time semesters.
  5. You may not have previously attained a baccalaureate degree or have attended school more than 10 semesters, 12 trimesters, or 15 quarters of enrolled class time.
