Scope of the Collections
The Acadian Archives/Archives Acadiennes collects manuscripts and documents (and copies thereof) pertaining to the history and culture of the Franco-Americans and Acadians of the Upper St John Valley. Audio-visual documentation and manuscript materials include: textual records; maps, plans, drawings, diagrams; photographs, slides, films; paintings, pictorial and graphic works; microfilms, sound recordings, videotapes, and machine readable records.
Holdings
The Acadian Archives/Archives Acadiennes has more than 15 linear feet of manuscript materials, 8,500 photographic images, 400 audio or video recordings and films, 200 microfilm rolls, 2000 reference books, journals, 100 maps, plus ephemera and other materials on regional history and culture.
