What's cool about UMFK?
Besides having a second to none Nursing Program, professors take a personal interest in one's academic success. Because of our small size; a student quickly becomes "FAMILY" …and to top it all…amazing natural surroundings; the perfect place for both winter & summer "Extreme" (boarding, skiing, snowmobiling…..etc) Sports!!!

What do you do for fun outside the classroom?
Even if I'm not an active participant, I enjoy attending most UMFK Student Activities; HUGE Bengal's Basketball & Soccer fan…and there's always a rockin' party somewhere!

What do you like about the Nursing; Accelerated BSN program?
The administration and faculty are always present to work and motivate the students. UMFK has a top notch nursing curriculum. It's a challenging program, which prepares the student for a successful career in a number of different settings. A BSN from UMFK opens doors to a rewarding RN career and is a solid foundation for advanced graduate studies.

What are your professors like?
The administration and faculty are always present to work and motivate students. Because of our small size, there are more opportunities for them to interact with individual students. There is definitely an open door policy among our professors and clinical instructors.

Any advice for a new student coming to UMFK?
Prepare yourselves for a truly unique experience…it's the perfect place to start the rest of your life!
