Here are just a few helpful hints to get you started:
- UMFK operates on a rolling admission basis, which means that applications are accepted throughout the year for each upcoming semester. Although, we do not have a deadline for applications, it is strongly recommended that you apply as early as possible.
- Applications must be complete in order for a decision to be made. Please be sure to submit everything that is required.
- In applying for financial aid, keep in mind that to be considered as an "on-time" applicant and to meet UMFK's priority filing date of March 1, we recommend submitting the FAFSA to the federal processing center by February 1. (Consideration for assistance, however, will be given at any time during the year.) It is in your best interest to apply as early as possible after January 1st.
- UMFK also has numerous scholarships available. Apply for these early!
- Think about visiting us, if you haven't already; it's a great way to get to know the campus and all that it has to offer you.
