Here is a helpful checklist of what steps you should take next to confirm your attendance at UMFK.
Enrollment Deposit
Complete and return the enrollment confirmation card along with the $150 enrollment deposit. This deposit is required to hold your spot in the class, as well as to allow for a room assignment to be made if you plan to live on campus; it is not an additional fee, in fact you will see it as a credit on your first semester's tuition bill.

Complete the Residence Hall Questionnaire and Dining Hall ContractThis is required ONLY if you intend to live on campus and is required prior to a room assignment being made.
Complete ALL medical forms
All students are required to show proof of immunization and verify insurance information. We also ask that you provide basic medical information for our Health Clinic to have on hand in case of an emergency on campus.

Activate Your EmailIf you have not activated your email account, please do so. All official UMFK notices will go out using this "@maine.edu" email account. If you need assistance activating your account, contact our UMFK Help Desk at 207-834-7818 or email nickio@maine.edu.
Attend OrientationOrientation is a great way to meet other new students and to learn about our campus. Sessions are held throughout the summer for the Fall semester and in January for the Spring semester. More information will be sent by our Student Success Coordinator. Financial AidIf you have not applied for Financial Aid, you can apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Priority filing for Financial Aid is March 1. Financial Documentation Form (FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ONLY)All International students are required to show proof of funding prior to our issue of a Student Visa (I-20). Included in this packet is the Financial Documentation Form as well as a helpful guide with specific instructions on how the form should be completed.
