2001 Opening of Nursing Resource Center and relocation of Division of Nursing to Northern Maine Center for Rural Health Science in Nadeau Hall.
Maine State Board of Nursing (MSBON) 6- year reaccredidation of UMFK Nursing Program.
Dr. Jacqueline Fawcett presented to nursing faculty and students.
2002 Final approval granted by Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 10-year accreditation with no recommendations.
Dr. Susan Morrison conducted Testing Workshop for faculty.

2003 Accelerated BSN track established.
2004 RN-to-BSN Distance Education Program Option granted approval by the Board of Trustees.
