The GIS Program is built around expertise from faculty members in computer science and forestry. As GIS is a multidisciplinary program, so to is the faculty who provide that expertise. Faculty members in computer science provide the expertise in computer science, database management and programming, while the forestry faculty provide the expertise in geography and GIS, GPS, and GIS and GPS software applications.
