Field Naturalist

Students become proficient in plant and animal identification, and develop an understanding of the roles that these organisms play in the natural environment. The coursework also develops skills needed to communicate about the natural world. This specialization prepares students to work as interpretive naturalists in educational settings such as parks, camps, ecotourism businesses, and natural history organizations.
