Social Policy and Activism

This area of specialization emphasizes the social side of environmental problems. Students study social structures, diverse cultures, and resource management practices, and apply this knowledge to environmental issues. This coursework prepares students for careers in environmental policy, advocacy, and activism in government and non-governmental organizations.
