UMFK's Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications program is designed to teach you all about computers and computer programming. - BUSINESS: You'll learn the nuts and bolts of business management and how to be an innovative leader and effective communicator.

GIS (Geographic Information Systems): This new field of study uses computer technology to combine mapping and spatial analysis to solve problems on a large scale. INFORMATION ASSURANCE/SECURITY: Prepare yourself for this exciting field and expanding opportunities for employment by learning about protecting, detecting, reporting and responding to threats against information and information systems.

- MATH & SCIENCE: Formulating and solving problems is the special of the day in this concentration. Also on the menu is a long list of science programs including forest technology, biology, chemistry and environmental science.
- WEB DEVELOPMENT: Learn the latest commercial technologies for developing high-impact, visually appealing web sites and Internet programs. Focus on state to art development tools including Macromedia Flash and Dreamweaver, Microsoft .NET and SQL Server, Java and Oracle.
