This program provides a broad training in biology with a concentration in an area of biological science. A student must successfully complete both the required and support courses of the biology major, along with the required courses for the concentration (a total of at least 48 credit hours). These concentrations prepare you for continued study in graduate and professional schools, or many career goals such as teaching, technical or field positions. Each concentration consists of courses which provide study and depth of the principle aspects of the subject. This academic track provides a broad exposure in laboratory work and extensive experience in field situations.
